"The hotel was everything you'd want. I arrived late and the night staff member warmly welcomed me and had everything ready. Basically, he handed me the room keys and I headed straight to the room. The room was clean and everything was in good repair. Breakfast was good with plenty of options."

"Patrick and Debi were amazing hosts.The property is very clean and well kept.They were very accommodating and personable and the grounds were very peaceful and quiet.Breakfast was delicious and we will always choose Shane Acres over any hotel when we need a place to stay in the Madison area. "When we went to check in nobody was at the front desk. Rang a bell and nobody came. There was a laminated paper saying to call this number and someone would come. I thought that was a little weird. They are doing renovations themselves, this is not professional work, very sloppy. Rooms have new paint and floors but old chipped furniture and there were stains on the chairs. We only had one outlet in the whole room which was odd too. Shower had hair in it so did a washcloth. I wouldn't recommend this property, I should have spent a little more and went somewhere else"
