The breakfast was superb - fresh fruit , juice, fresh coffee , a choice of cooked breakfasts - plentiful and fresh. Staff were lovely - attentive and polite . Highly recommended to stay here ! "Lovely hotel in great surrounding. Fab infinity pool for Insta worthy pics. The food at the hotel was outstanding and by far the best buffets we had during our trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best hoppers. The hotel is built into a rock. Some areas felt a little dated in decor and check in was a bit slow but this could be due to the large numbers of people staying at the hotel. The pool boys at the infinity pool were fabulous in helping us take photographs that captured the beauty of the area. The room was lovely and we had a fantastic view of Sigiriya and a jacuzzi with an outside view. Great base for exploring Sigiriya and the Eco elephant safari."

"Didn't use tge Spa. An odd gesture is the toilette without a door and shower with clear glass door. That was quite an awkward surprise which made my family very uncomfortable."

"The stay at Sigiriya Village was the highlight of our Sri Lanka visit. Design by Bawa, a famous architectural family, the grounds and facilities are stunning. Entering the space, we felt instantly calm. The staff was so kind and helpful. There were elegant and beautiful massage facilities and I strongly recommend a massage. The food was delicious, the setting perfect, looking at the Lion Rock. "

"A beautiful Resort, wished we stayed longer to enjoy more of it. The only downside for us was the bar. If you’re offering cocktails, you need staff that know what they are doing. The staff behind the bar had no idea."
