The room was great, the service and breakfast were also great.
Why the four stars? Hilton had a major issue with their online system so no one could check in. This was a nationwide issue so there wasn't anything that the front desk staff had control over.
Not being able to check in when I arrived wasn't a thrill since I had been working since 6:15 in the morning, left work at 5:454 pm, drove one hour and then arrived to be told no rooms can be provided until the system gets back up.
It was not a problem that the Hampton Inn had control over, but I had to wait 45 minutes until a room became available. The room became available after the manager who was offsite, figured out a way to assign rooms. I do appreciate the front desk staff and manager working on a solutions.
Hilton of course, will just ignore the inconvenience and fail to compensate anyone for the issue.
