"The location of the property is excellent as it is right in the heart of Punda. The property has recently been refurbished and is a nice space, size and clean. The bathroom is excellent.
There are a few things that could have improved my stay. There is no lighting in the stairwell to the door and is difficult to see. It feels like the property is not quite fully finished and just needs a finishing touch and then it would be perfect. I did have a mishap of being given directions to the wrong...

"PM78 is in a great location for easy access to restaurants, shopping, exploring and museums. We felt completely safe walking the neighborhood after dark and the building itself had good security features. There are 5 or 6 apartments so do take note that the pool is private for the main floor apartment only. Be mindful when booking.
We had a beautiful Ocean View Suite with a huge terrace. All the basics were there in the kitchenette and didn’t have any trouble cooking.

"Had trouble reaching them because they wouldn’t answer, not even the emergency number. The AC wasn’t working so they let us stay in another apartment but we had to move from, so in total we moved 3x. plus one of the apartments didn’t have an elevator so we had to carry our stuff up. "

"I have sent these messages including pictures as proof:
You definitely need to improve the cleaning of the apartment including the bed sheets. The rooms like it has not been cleaned in years! (Pictures to proof available). I am leaving tomorrow morning already but I felt really sick in the appartment couldn't stay in it so I started looking for what cause it.And I saw the mess under the bed (pictures to proof it!).

"I loved my stay at the Kontiki beach resort. Stayed on the non-luxury side and it was beautiful. The landscape, pathways and pools are beautiful, relaxing and private.
My only warning to other guests would be that on certain nights of the week that you won’t really know about in advance, you can hear very loud music from the bars on the beach and it goes till about 12 AM to 1 AM.
Older than that, this resort really is beautifully appointed… The beach area and restaurants are photo worthy"

"The absolute best thing about the resort was location. The beach and water were the prettiest I have ever seen. The property met our needs with good specialty restaurants, friendly staff and plenty of loungers for all. The only recommendation I have would be to focus on the world buffet cafe. Better selections, keeping things filled, and some days the staff was not organized with getting silverware and coffee. This would not keep me from returning, we had a fabulous time and I recommend."

"I think we had the farthest room from the elevator but putting that aside, the room was great. Clean, spacious, and available when we arrived. Our room had a balcony which was great but the balcony was a “shared” balcony. Meaning there was no divisions/dividers between rooms. I guess it’s fine but I found it odd. But perhaps that’s just how it’s undone in Curacao. Regardless, the overall experience was great. I would recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Curacao. "
