"Beware there are other hotels much better to choose from!!!! NOT up to Marriott standards. This is such a poorly managed hotel. Have been coming to Williamsburg 28 years. Everyday breakfast items out (different times) , not being refilled, No coffee. Check in rude, sarcastic and condescending, could not wait for shift to end. Furniture damaged, TV stopped working. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came in once."

"Fife and Drum is a wonderful place to stay in Williamsburg. The location is amazing because you can walk to the museums and restaurants. Check in and parking are very easy. The place itself is charming and they always have drinks and snacks available in their quaint dining area, as well as delicious breakfast options. "The hotel was clean! The staff was very professional and helpful! However, the room looked very cheaply renovated. Lots of patched up spots in the ceiling. Bathroom door was several different colors of brown. The carpet needs to be cleaned or removed. There was a slight smell over near the bathroom/fridge/microwave area. The front door entrance absolutely annoying! You have to push the handicapped button or pull/push for it to open instead of having sensors. When you have a lot in your hands...

"Awful mildew smell in hallways. Completely dirty carpeting and walls on the 4th floor. THE SMELLLLL!!! Elevators were so hot. No certificate in elevator either. Room was clean. Tile flooring throughout. Bathroom sink outside the bathroom. Shower was good but bathroom was so small and cramped with no place to hang towels at all. Breakfast was NOT GOOD. COLD. French toast was hard as a rock at 630 am. How? Knats everywhere as well as flies."
