"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we absolutely loved this hotel. The entire place was so charming. Established in the 1930’s, it had an old fashioned feel with modernized fixtures, hardwood floors and comfy lounge areas on each floor. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed- enough outlets to charge our devices, small fridge, microwave and a small hairdryer in the bathroom. "I love all the extra amenities that make Hampton Inns great—the free breakfast, 24 hour brewed coffee and tea service, the fitness room with filtered water available. The staff were very friendly and responsive at the Pinellas, Fla location. We had a great stay."

"Old property with lots of charm. Bed is comfortable, shower good. Innkeepers friendly and helpful. Adequate breakfast and happy hour beverages provide opportunity to chat with other guests from US and Europe. Lots of museums, restaurants, coffee shops and bookstores within easy walking distance (less than a mile). Will definitely come back. "

"I did not like that there are only 10 parking spaces in the garage. I had to leave first thing in the morning, and did not physically check out like I’ve done at every other hotel. I didn’t ask for a late checkout, so you would assume a hotel would expect you to be out by their checkout time. This hotel tracked me down and had to confirm with me that I wasn’t staying later, otherwise they would’ve charged me the $75 late fee. I don’t like that policy. I’m glad I was able to get them in time...

"Jeff Baker, the manager, was great, very friendly and attentive! The breakfast options were limited and not that great. The rooms aren't well insulated against noise. I had a poolside room, and there was constant noise from the other guests at the pool. You could also hear people in the hallway and in adjacent rooms. So bring a sound spa to drown out all the noise. The sheets were very worn and not very soft. Room was spacious and comfortable."
