"Owner was very kind and gracious. The accommodation was a bit overlooked with attention. We had spider webs hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom, and there was no hand soap to wash our hands in the bathroom. We had a nice breakfast, and the Inn itself was old and had some charm. The grounds had lovely flower beds. The bed was only a double size, but it was comfortable. "

"We booked this place as a bed and breakfast. No breakfast. No staff on site. No information was provided at the hotel to help us find things in the area. We were not informed that this was a "self check in hotel" until after the cancellation date. Calling the Heritage office (off site) for assistance was useless as the staff could not answer our questions. The common areas were sparsely furnished and shabby. "Used coffee cups in dining area...no breakfast...owner said that he would compensate for that but there was no one to check us out the next morning with no compensation...shame that an historic inn is falling through the cracks...I definitely would not stay there again..."

"Angel's Rest is sooo peaceful. We had a delicious and super healthy breakfast in the breakfast nook, surrounded by lovely plants and a small fountain, looking out over the rolling hills of Western Mass. The fall colors were nice. "
