"We booked a family room for four for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Room and toilet was very clean & most importantly the view from our room was the main attraction! Check in was easy as well, parking was free, breakfast was yummy and homey. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with no complaints! It's also a good mid point for Interlaken and Grindewald "

"Amazing stay! Beautiful mountain views and a few minute walk to bus/train terminal. Could not recommend more. Only downside was reception wasn’t available 24/7 and there was construction going on but other than that it was a great experience."

"The hotel is exquisite and absolutely beautifully renovated. It is great being able to use the alpine sports centre across the street which connects through a skywalk. The views were amazing of surrounding landscapes and waterfalls. The staff were incredibly courteous and nothing was an issue, amoungst the best I have encountered. It would have been nice to have a door between rooms in the suites when sharing with children though as an improvement. Do also be aware that one must take a...

"We've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Grandhotel Giessbach and wow, what a place! The hotel is certainly grand and is located in the most beautiful location I've ever seen, overlooking Lake Brienz with the Giessbach falls only metres away! The staff were all very pleasant, the breakfast was great, the bar was lovely, the Les Cascades restaurant was lovely, the surrounding park and trails were truly beautiful! However, my only complaint is that we had to pay 15CHF per night for parking....

"J’ai séjourné 4 nuits dans une chambre supérieure avec un balcon et avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. J’ai tout aimé de cet hôtel. Il est légèrement en retrait de la rue principale donc c’est tranquille et paisible. Il est à proximité de la gare mais la pente est plutôt raide pour monter à l’hôtel. L’hôtel n’est pas moderne mais à tout le charme rustique de la Suisse. C’est propre et bien entretenu. Le lit est confortable, la chambre supérieure est spacieuse en plus du petit coin salon...

"This was without a doubt our favorite stay in Switzerland. Sunstar Hotel in Grindelwald is simply amazing—the views, the atmosphere, the service, and the location are all outstanding. The staff made us feel so welcome, and the hotel itself has a warm, inviting charm. But what truly took our breath away was the view from our room. "We stayed for three days and this hotel was ideal for our purposes. The location is only a few minutes from the train station and a leisurely ten minute walk to the Schilthorn cable cars. The views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau were exceptional…you’ll never have a better view at breakfast. Furnishings and food were on the simpler side — we very much enjoyed our time."
