"It was bitterly cold… And I was delayed by wintry weather in Manchester Airport and arrived much later than expected… The hotel staff responded by email to my email telling them that I would be late… And had prepared my room with an oil filled radiator pumping away at 24 C when I arrived….wonderful service …for which many thanks to the courteous and considerate staff."

"This is primarily an assisted living facility. The entrance was locked before we arrived and it was necessary to call security to let us in. No one spoke English. Breakfast was available for the residents but not for the guests as was dinner. There were no local restaurants except for a pizza takeout across the street. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The location is a ten minute walk from the medieval city walls. "

"The hotel is very traditional in style with the most charming staff (? owners.) As a solo woman traveller I appreciated that the area felt safe, although the main road is a little noisy. It’s easy to walk from the train station along the canal & everything I wanted to see was also walkable. "

"Absolutely a dream location to access the medieval city. Literally steps from the Narbonne gate. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but our door lock was broken so locking the room was impossible. Luckily, the room had a second hidden door behind the floor to ceiling blood red curtains, so we could safely lock our stuff up while we explored.
