"Room 260 is huge!! a king bed...a mini fridge with a separate freezer...a nice sofa (? hide a bed?) quiet location in the back of the main building ,.... will stay again if need arises... However, I was looking forward to a nice hot bath after traveling all day...but the bathtub does not hold water...seems like the plug is designed to stay in the open position all the time...the shower is excellent...lots of pressure and the towels are soft. I did not like the fact that the door from the parking lot to the building is accessible to anyone who wants to come in the building as the lock was taped with orange construction tape to make the door so you didn't have to use your key card... the other issue is there are no USB ports for charging your devices... most hotels we stay at have ports in the outlets or the lamps or bedside clock... The staff is very nice!! and check out is at 11 am which is great!"

"Room was clean, but had an old cigarette smell. Shower head needed to be cleaned. Bedding and towels were clean. Comfortable room overall. Hallway and stairwell was very unkept. Quiet, would stay again."

"Parking is catch as catch can, but nearby as it is right in the middle of downtown. Nice dining at the lobby, and all representatives were very nice and helpful. Cute, clean rooms where everything seemed fresh and new. If and when I return to Rockford, Hotel Rose is where I will stay. Rogue River Tavern across the street, Corner Bar at the end of the block, and the Old Mill and Rogue River Dam and Park just another block further. Perfect location!"

"A hotel should not book rooms that are not fully ready to be used. There was no closet. No closet bar, no hangers. No hairdryer. No laundry bag. No exhaust fan cover in the bathroom. There was no counter to place toiletries on the sink while getting ready. The tiles in the shower near the drain stuck to my foot when I stepped on it and came off of the floor when I moved. And when we complained, we were informed that the hotel was under renovation and not all rooms had been everything guests needed. That doesn’t seem acceptable. The staff was helpfulc courteous and kind. The breakfast was good. We felt safe, just not comfortable. We didn’t feel like we got the amenities you normally get at a holiday inn, "

"The room wasn't properly cleaned. There was mold/ mildew along the entire bottom of shower curtain. The TV remotes were absolutely filthy & gross with lots of gunk around & on buttons. The ceiling tiles were 75% falling down, you could actually see between the ceiling squares & the space above it with "stuff ??" hanging In there. There were scratches & many repair spots on walls. The sheets I'm not even sure were clean, but was too tired to walk down & up the 600 steep stairs again, but they also do many snags & straggly threads. One of the TVs didn't work more than 25% of the time. It would work for a 1 - 3 minutes & then it was of again, that was constant which finally made it too annoying to even bother. Overall... I will never have any desire to stay again & certainly will not recommend it to any else. This was my husband & my 1st "vacation/ stay cation" in 10 years & it was miserable. We left feeling worse than when we arrived. I hope future guests will find many repairs & upgrades that will make a more enjoyable stay than we had."
