"The facilities were excellent and the host John was friendly and congenial and throughout our stay ensured we had everything we needed. He was informative about the local area and recommended things to see which was much appreciated. A bonus was we really enjoyed feeding the animals and learnt a lot about alpacas. "

"This is a wonderful hotel but was very disappointed with the staff on check in. We arrived after 2pm, check in was 2pm, and the room wasn't ready. We sat in the foyer for almost an hour then when I approached the Duty Manager he me told the room had been ready for awhile. Clearly they hadn't noted that I was sitting in the foyer with a person in a wheelchair and approached us to say that the room was ready. "I forgot to mention at check-out that the bathroom basin needs a new one ring for the sink. It does hold water. The kitchen floor was as really squeaky."
