"we only stayed for a night but loved being right on the water, watching boats go in and out of the harbor, twinkling lights, great location walkable to everything."
"We had a lovely weekend. We were in Room 1 in the main house. Not a complaint but something to be aware of, this room in particular has a low ceiling, like 7'. It was big enough to move around in comfortably, the AC worked well and is quiet. The easy access to the common area and fridge was nice.
It was really nice to sit in the back yard with a glass of wine and listen to a good variety of birds that are quite vocal until the sun sets.
The owner is very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend to friends."
"Our room was clean, but since it was overlooking the water, had a rather musty smell when we first arrived. We were able to air it out. I notified staff and they informed us that the building we were in is next on the rehab list, hopefully removing that musty smell when first arriving.
The balcony view was first rate. Breakfast was great!
Only drawback: carrying suitcases up the stairs!"
"There was a tv in the room an$ a cable box but no instructions. Usually in the room you’ll have pamphlets or a book with local activities, things to do etc. would have been nice to have a list of activities and hours of operation. Daily breakfast buffet was very good. We didn’t find the staff overly friendly. The property is beautiful and conveniently located. Free trolley rides to the harbor. The resort never felt crowded. Would definitely go back again."
"Great for a short stay.. main building are more updated rooms. As with most inns and B&Bs, a/c unit was very loud and difficult to sleep with.. pillows (at least in our room) were flat/ hard although we didn’t ask for other alternatives. Great location and view!"
