"The apartment was really nice and had fantastic views. I woke up every morning and saw whales breaching in the far distance, which was very exciting. It is currently whale season. Binocular wouod be great to take. They were mostly far out but it was super exciting. Out the lounge room window, you could see the river. The accommodation was about 1 minute walk to the beach. "With the poor score on communication, it wasn't explained that the reception would be closed at 1pm Saturday and Sunday. We had an email asking us what time would we be there - we said before 3-4pm. On arrival we went early and filled out the check in and stored bags, advised we would get a call when the room was ready but no call. Only to come back at 3pm to find we were locked out and needed to contact afterhours and give informaiton about our stay to someone on the phone. Recommend this...

"A short walk to central Surfers Paradise. Plenty of street parking for our visitors and free parking for guests. Clean, well presented, nice staff, excellent price. Photos represented apartment well. There was a construction site nearby which did not trouble us with noise. The lobby looks like it used yo have a bar and dining but doesnt seem to be operating at the moment. Lifts were all operational and quick. Little balcony was great and could see the ocean. For the price, excellent value. "

"Where do I start...I only stayed one night, and I wish I had stayed longer. Not only was the property beautiful, but the staff were wonderful - welcoming, kind, and thoughtful. The apartment was so incredibly clean and had everything I needed. The view was stunning, I had ocean views and views of the river. The bed was very comfortable. Parking was easy (was $15 extra). I honestly wish I could give more stars :D Can't wait to stay again! "
