"The subtle elegance is timeless and allows the guests to appreciate the historic value of this beautiful hotel. The spa-like bath products are much appreciated and worth shopping online to add to a home guest bath for a luxury feel. Greenville downtown area has much to offer in dining and with easy walking. We enjoyed a show at Bon Secours Convention Center and the drive to park and walk to show was seamless. From staff to the locals, the friendliness and warm welcome is what will keep you...

"Great location and nice breakfast. The scent was overpowering in the lobby and common areas. The layout was odd from the main entrance to the lobby then to the elevators. I'll likely choose a different hotel when in Greenville next week."

"Great location. Love that the parking garage is connected to the hotel. Felt the hotel could be cleaner. Elevator had a bad odor. Did not care for the fact that bathroom fan comes on when you turn on the light. Others in the room could hear fan during the night. Everyone was very friendly there."

"Positive:
Clean room
Negative ;
1. No drinkable water in the room or even when you arrive. I would expect one bottle of water to be charged to room

In summary, this hotel does not deserve grade 3 in a scale of 5"

"Our room was in need of a major renovation. There were holes in the wall where pictures had been moved, the caulking in the bathroom was cracked and gross, there was a stain on the carpet by the bed, a nasty stain on the mattress where the bottom flat sheet came off. Walls were paper thin and we heard folks walking around in the room above us.
When we arrived, there were some shady folks hanging out in the parking lot behind the building. Not a great part of town.
Front desk folks were cordial...
