"This hotel exceeded our expectations, so much so we stayed an extra night. The staff go the extra mile to ensure you are happy and enjoying your break. We met other couples that had returned to the hotel and been doing this for years. The food served was delicious and plentiful. We had the roast of the day on both evenings and they were massive portions all cooked to perfection. We could not decide on our favourite between roast turkey or roast beef. Hat off to their chef! "The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

"We arrived at 10pm. Lovely lady at reception who explained everything to us. Lovely clean quiet room. Comfy beds, great showers. Had breakfast over at the stop area. Was lovely food but not enough staff on duty"
