"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

I spoke to reception about the air con and how hot it was in the room, they gave us desktop fans and told us there wasn't really anything else they could do as there were quite a few rooms with the same issue!! "A good hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast buffet good. Crazy practice of charging hotel guests to park but that seems to be a growing trend. Be honest and include the charge in the hotel costs instead of hiding additional costs."

"The room had everything you need but wasn’t clean and they don’t clean during your stay either. You can get new towels from reception, but no one is coming to get your previous wet/used ones. Reception desk is impressive and the 2 girls were smiley and attentive. Bathroom was ok but looking very tired. Shower was good and powerful. Parking is easy and the golf course looks good. For the price it wasn’t great value. We might stay again if we can’t find anything better, for the next Goodwood...

"The rooms are not in the main building, they are what I can only describe as motel type rooms in a couple of blocks. We had a 1st floor room the window only opened an inch and there was no A/C, didn't get a lot of sleep at the weather therefore the room was baking hot. Lovely grounds to walk round and the breakfast was good in a really nice setting."
