"Perfect location to stay for parents with kids at University of Iowa. Clean, comfortable, and great staff. Parking garage was well lit and easy to access with room key. Hotel breakfast was great! Coralville river landing is a great area to stay with plenty of food, shopping and entertainment options."

We were moved to a different room. This had no shower curtain, mold all along grout line, soap scum Ring in bathtub, barely a trickle of water from shower head and water spout. "This hotel is right across from Kinnick Stadium and a three minute drive to University of Iowa hospitals and clinics very conveniently located well priced very clean and nice, knowledgeable and friendly staff would definitely stay again! My husband and I stayed because I had a surgery and they had an available wheelchair for afterwards so I could get back up to our room. Staff was very accommodating."

"We were greeted by a large private security guard who stared us down and blocked our entrance to the front desk to check in! Not the experience we were expecting. It felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. I felt like if I would have said anything the guard would have stopped me and made me leave. "I loved everything about the property. Everything was well-maintained, clean both in the lobby and the rooms, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. Next time I return, I will stay at the same Element Iowa hotel. 100% recommended."
