"Rooms are very basic for the price. No kettle or iron in room. Can get iron from reception. No restaurant on site. Free bottle of water offer is a scam. I asked for a free bottle of water and they said because I didn’t book through their website I wasn’t allowed one. Hotel is in an excellent location but very basic."

"Unfortunately, the room we were given had bedbugs which we discovered at midnight. With no overnight front desk staff on premises, we were stuck in the room and spent a sleepless night trying to mitigate our exposure and to avoid becoming vectors for the insects for our other destinations (Berlin was the first stop on a multi-city vacation). We did write an email to the manager and sent pictures, plus we did notify staff the following morning. Manager’s response was empathetic and offered recommendations on how to clean clothes and belongings. The experience of this type was a first for us and was an unsettling start to our journey. Fellow travelers, we hope you can avoid similar circumstances on your trips."

"Excellent stay here between 8th - 11th June. All staff so welcoming and facilities clean! It’s about a 18-20 minute walk into Alexanderplatz along a main road so you can’t get lost! Less than ten minutes from Osbahnhof Station too for travelling around. Lovely Holzmarkt area opposite offering drinks, street food and chilled vibes by the Spree. Also 15 minute walk from the East Side Gallery. Only advice from me was the room was a bit light in the evening due to a thin curtain and leaving the window open led to a lot of noise from the train line and construction work opposite. If you’re a light sleeper then bring an eye mask! 😂 Overall superb!"
