"Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. "Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it "

"Stunning place , soaked in history was just perfect for what we needed , lovely restaurant and brassiere fully deserves the four Stars they have , the grounds are beautifully manicured just a great place to go and relax. We tried out the Spa not too busy but had everything you needed. There are only a few little niggles if you had to pick something the carpet in our room looked tired but that’s it really. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant was very tasty excellent standard, the breakfast was plentiful although a little pricey but I can see why with how much is on offer and the quality of the produce. We will return to this magical place. "

"What an excellent hotel. Our stay was very comfortable. The room was nicely furnished and well serviced. The gym was excellent, with very good equipment which was well maintained. We didn't use the pool but it looked very good too. Breakfast was also excellent, a good variety of options. The cooked breakfast was cooked to the highest standards. It was also possible to request personalised off menu foods. The staff were all very helpful and positive. Public transport to and from Cambridge was economical and very frequent."

"Hotel was nice and in a good location for visiting nearby areas. Good parking area Room was spacious and had air conditioning and twin double beds. Couldn't work out how to close the plug for a bath but the shower was hot and powerful. Fan in the bathroom didn't work but reception staff listed our complaint and were going to sort it out. Breakfast in the restaurant was good and staff worked hard to keep area clean and food items restocked. "
