"Our stay delivered a wonderful and picturesque getaway. The luxurious rooms held a touch of romance and the views were so pretty even in the depths of winter. Exploring the house and the gardens was lovely. Being so close a visit to Yering station for a deliciou wine tasting made for another unexpected and easy to fit in activity. Chateau Yering lived up to any expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying here. The thoughtful welcome gift in our room was a truly unexpected...

"This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent."

"Staff member checked me in and welcomed us and showed me to the room upstairs a few freebies in room nice touch Room clean and quiet, bathroom plenty of room shower in bath We had issues with toilet randomly flushing then leaking at the tap so turned it off overnight In morning 730am partner showered said was hard to get temperature right but ok my shower 845am I turned hot water tap on and then water stopped nothing so aborted and had a bird bath instead! Reported to staff on checkout...

"The room was clean and beds were comfortable in the family room. The only issue was that there were no plates or cutlery which was inconvenient as we had trouble heating our food. If you are providing a microwave,then there should be plates provided too. Otherwise, the place was clean and is pet friendly."

"This property is brilliant!! Staff very friendly and helpful, room was a great size and immaculate, great shower, comfy bed and quiet. As a bonus, very easy access to the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges. We will be back!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Yarra Valley Lodge and couldn't have been more impressed. The property is set amongst beautiful natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a true escape from the city. The spacious room was spotless, comfortable, and offered lovely views of the gardens and estate. The lodge is located on a large estate near the gateway to the Yarra Valley wine region, making it an ideal base for exploring the area."
