"We had such a wonderful stay at OA Hotel in Yilan! The location was incredibly convenient, very close to the bus station where we arrived from Taipei and right next to the beach, which was a huge plus. We even got to watch some of the local surfers while we were there.
Breakfast each morning was great, with lots of different options, and the staff spoke English, which was really helpful. Everyone was so kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Taiwanese hospitality really is something special.
The rooftop onsen was also a really nice touch. My only wish is that it opened a little earlier than 4 PM so we could have enjoyed it during the hottest part of the afternoon, but we still loved having it.
My favorite part of the entire property was being able to wake up in the morning, walk over to the beach, and watch the sunrise. It was honestly one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen. Our balcony also had gorgeous views of the mountains, so you really get the best of both.
The staff also went above and beyond for us after checkout. We left in a rush and later realized we had forgotten our swimsuits that we had left out to dry. The hotel found them and kindly shipped them back to where we were staying in Taipei, which we really appreciated.
Between the beach, mountain views, rooftop onsen, convenient location, and genuinely wonderful staff, we had such a memorable stay. I would definitely come back!"
