"Fantastic place. Strongly recommend. Food was great. Service a bit slow, but it was a busy time and limited staff. Accommodations were lovely and one of the very best w stayed in on our Coast to Coast hike. "

"Amazing trip away, the pub is outstanding and the huts behind were brilliant to stay in. There are no cooking facilities but we were aware and planned accordingly. The mattress was not the most comfortable we have slept on but still would return in a heartbeat, had a brilliant trip away for a birthday treat. "

"Excellent stay, immaculate lodge with everything you may need. Hot tub was brilliant, abd checked daily. Highly recommend."

"If you want a peaceful location with family and dog walks in the forest then this is perfect "

"Beautiful lodge in a beautiful private peaceful location. Very well equipped and furnished. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating. Blessed with warm sunshine we made the most of the deck, sun loungers and hot tub. Access to the nearby spa at the golf club was a lovely bonus. Owner was friendly and helpful. Lots of safe roads for cycling around the location. Would definitely stay again. "
