"Everything was ok. That really is also the problem I have with it. Because the price paid - well over £200 for 1 night - wasn’t at an “ok” price range. Sure, it had a Smeg fridge, but we didn’t use it and honestly if we had we’d not really have cared what brand it was. Maybe though we’d have chosen one whose door didn’t stick out quite so far into an already cramped room. The bed was ok, the TV was ok, the wall art was ok. The curtains worked. The AC worked. The lift worked. The door card worked (first time too) The breakfast was ok, yet for the English breakfast had only ok bacon, less than ok sausage, ok tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns and scrambled eggs (no poached or fried). 2 varieties of mini pastries. A slightly gimmicky and slow waffle making machine with a messy counter (think Pizza Hut ice cream factory after the 5th kids party of the day) and a few of the other usual bits and pieces alongside the standard machine coffee maker. Throughout the room and hotel nothing stood out (except the aforementioned Smeg fridge door). Nothing screamed “I’m worth the extra £100 for this over other hotel options”. None of it was bad, but equally none of it was great. Unless you’re hugely into Smeg appliances I suppose. "

"The staff were very helpful. The rooms had been refurbished, with an excellent, powerful walk-in shower. The hotel was conveniently situated near the station and the bus stop for the airport."

"Excellent service and a very clean comfortable room. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed a convivial drink in the cosy bar. Strongly recommended."

"Room was clean and nice but heating did not work properly and after one cold night we were given small electric radiators. Breakfast was very average. Communal areas in the hotel were very nice although pool was closed which we had not been told about. Location is excellent."

"Nice hotel but couldn’t leave window open in room and it was roasting. If you go take a small block of wood to keep sash window open. Staff were very friendly. Was a bit noisy as events were being held but room was quiet. Good selection at breakfast and in bar n the little coffee shop was nice."

"Nice, clean, modern hotel, excellent service. Dinner was particularly nice, I had the fish stew (although the padron peppers were slightly undercooked). Good range of options for breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious but a bit weirdly designed; there was no bathroom, just an individual toilet; the sink felt like it was in the middle of the bedroom and the shower was open to the rest of the room, just the glass door to keep you away from the main room. Not a problem for me as I was by myself, but if I'd been sharing a room with someone it would have definitely been an issue! Also the TV was in a slightly weird position, to the side of the bed, so I got a bit of neck ache when I was watching it."

"Hotel needs to be refurbished . Bath had jets that don’t work and dirt came out of them Marks on walls that could be covered with paint Didn’t eat there Never heard of a hotel that doesn’t let you bring take away and maes you eat it out side "
