"Not all rooms are renovated. We stayed in an older room with a small bathroom and shower that leaked out. The bathroom was not completely clean. The hot tub and pools had bugs in them, and the indoor pool was broken the first day. "
"The cabin was really nice, but few things were different from what was listed in the property description: they advertised as “no towel”, but was plenty of towels (REALLY appreciated). And then they advertised as the oven is there, but is NOT! There is a microvawe, but not a oven.
Beside that, the lady at the check-in was very nice, helpful and kind.
The parking spot right in front of the cabin is just perfect after a long day.
The cabin has everything you need for a wonderful stay!"
"The grounds are beautiful. Lots of greenery and privacy among the buildings. Nice size clean rooms. Staff is very friendly. Check in was a breeze. The breakfast is one of the best we have had from any hotel. Light buffet with a wide variety (Dennys is next door for people who want more). The on sight bar and restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious options. Beautiful paintings from the original owners fill the dining room and bedrooms. We ate all our meals here. Town of Oakhurst is just down the street. Easy drive to Yosemite & Bass Lake. EXCELLENT STAY. We will definitely be back!!!"
"Game room was mainly for younger kids. Indoor pool water was cloudy , and didn’t look clean. We tried the pizzeria , and quality of food was not that good. Location was pretty far from grocery stores and restaurants. But it was pretty close to the national park entrance. What I liked was that our teenage son had his own room in our cottage. "
"Such a cool idea for lodging. The club house was warm and stylishly homey, and the drinks were strong. We didn’t eat the food, but it looked tasty. Our trailer was clean and well organized. They aren’t like regular airstreams inside, as they have been stripped of some of the more camping style equipment like kitchen things. Lots of fun! "
"We had an overall good experience despite some issues. The first lady I encountered at the front desk was really confused and flustered when helping another guest. It wasn't a good first impression and didn't seem like good communication between the staff. We ended up getting locked out of our cabin the first night, despite having a key. It doesn't seem like the cabins are maintained very well. We had to climb out of the window and change cabins with a 9 month old baby that night. The maintenance man was very helpful, but when I went to talk to a manager the next day, the lady was almost accusatory asking what I did to break the lock and she was visibly reluctant to refund us for the night. Overall the grounds and amenities were very nice but the cabins were poorly maintained and the staff wasn't the best."
