"This was a cool find! We were able to leave our luggage and visit the city before check in with no problem. It was right in the middle of town so easy access to so many places. The staff was very helpful. One thing to know is that you can only access the roof view when the bar is open, which we didn’t realize, but would recommend this hotel and stay again."
"The hotel is in a very narrow alley, so you will need to bring your luggages over cobblestone alley to the hotel. Ignore the parking and driving in Toledo, other things about the hotel is just perfect. The interior is spacisou than what is appears on outside.
The lobby keeps the rich history of Toledo and the site of this hotel. The courtyard is cute."
"The location of the property was amazing. Everything was walking distance. It was a clean place with very helpful staff. The rooftop was AMAZING! You should definitely check it out in the evening."
"Beautiful hotel, staff exceptional and hospitable.Hotel its self is well decorated with good taste . Rooms are beautiful and we were surprised with the large jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was superb. Parking good and secure . Our only two comments were that the bed was too hard for us but that’s a matter of taste. And sorry we didn’t get to eat in the Michelin star restaurant attached to the hotel due to other commitments."
"Our taxi drove us up and up into Toledo - so beautiful! And our hotel was even more beautiful! Once the palace of an empress, it is striking in its decor and beauty. And every part of the experience matched that beauty - the reception was so warm and helpful at every step (I had an international postcard to mail but needed a stamp…I asked the front desk if there was one I might buy, and she offered to take it and mail it for me! She knew the history of this magnificent place and how it was woven into the history of the empress…so fascinating!). Our room was so beautiful in decor and fastidiousness, the lobby bar was graced by a portrait of the Empress at a later stage of her life…beautiful, modern, bright. The breakfast was stunning…homemade everything…yoghurt to which one could add fresh passion fruit (from the fresh fruit on the three-tiered server, with the mini homemade lemon curd tarts and madeleines with white chocolate that was lime zest infused. Fresh orange juice, etc. All beautiful and served with such kindness and graciousness. This is such an experience. Not to be missed!"
