"It truly was the best hotel in Malta of the several we stayed at on our honeymoon. The room was the most beautiful with a terrace, hot tub and clear views of the Mediterranean Sea. The hosts were so kind and ready for our arrival with a bottle of sparkling wine. The room amenities were superb including robes, plenty of towels and stellar bath products. "Excellent stay. We had a car so transport was not an issue. Parking on site and very very economical. The staff was great. Michelle told us about all the great things Malta had to offer. Drive to Valetta and Mdina was short. Room was spacious and clean. Views from the hotel priceless "

"This was our third visit to the Barcelo Fortina - we visited twice last year and returned this April with friends. However, we had noticed a couple of things that will deter us from booking again.
