It was such a beautiful experience and the perfect getaway for a memorable weekend! Everything was just on point, the installation, the friendly atmosphere from the staff, gourmet food, lovely pool, mixology, the room and the view of the whole bay was the best thing in my trip.

We were lucky enough to have Tentaciones all to ourselves. We went during the low season and there are only a total of 4 rooms. This experience was very exclusive. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast that is included is no joke! Super delicious . You can have breakfast at their sister hotel Espuma for no additional cost. Espumas breakfast was delicious!!! The rooms give off Greece vibes- very romantic. This hotel is about a block from beach (uphill)

Tentaciones is a perfect spot to enjoy all that Zihuatanejo has to offer. It is centrally located with easy walkability throughout the city. The hotel itself is stunning, private and quiet, offering a slice of paradise with the cliffside infinity pool. The restaurant itself is a set menu with five courses of excellent food and beautiful views. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a luxurious stay in Zihuatanejo.

Loved our stay at Tentaciones! It was recommended by a friend, and I am doing same for others. Really like the Adults Only aspect of this property. The service was impeccable, the room we stayed in was beautiful (super clean) and with our own private pool. We enjoyed a delicious 5 course dinner in their outdoor dining area which was VERY romantic. And the morning breakfasts (included in package) were hearty and delicious! Tentaciones is a great place, and we will stay there again!

The absolute best!

If I could have given more than a 5-star rating, I would have. The hotel only has 4 rooms (we were the only guests due to low season) and has an incredible view of Zihautanejo Bay from everywhere on the property. It's also walking distance to a couple of top restaurants down the hill. The real difference for us was the staff at the hotel. It seemed their only concern was to make sure we had the best time possible. So thank you Chai, Carmen and Salvador for making this truly special.

As we drove up we were impressed with the structure. When we walked up to the 2 wooden doors we wondered if we were entering the wrong way. Once we opened the grand doors, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the view. The entire staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. The room was as incredibly large for 2 and the rose petals on the bed were a romantic gesture. My favorite part was our private pool as the view was breathtaking. The only downside to this property if you have any physical limitations is the steep walk up and down to the street level or to your room. This property is incredibly beautiful, well maintained and customer service friendly. The staff will always call you by name as you enter of leave which makes it more special.

I booked a room here for a week to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The property and staff are simply amazing...I can't imagine there is a better spot to stay in Zihua. Carmen, Luis, and all the staff made us feel like royalty. We stayed in the Alejandra suite (Expedia calls it the Romantic suite). It was completely private and had it's own dipping pool and outdoor shower. We splurged on dinner here on our first night and it was amazing...worth every penny. The views are amazing, and we spent a lot of time lounging by the infinity pool while letting all of our cares melt away. The location is perfect: it's a quick walk to either Playa la Madera/town in one direction or Playa La Ropa in the other. It's a bit of an uphill hike to get back to the hotel, but it helps burn off the calories from all the delicious food you'll eat while in Zihua! The only thing I would change is to book directly with the hotel rather than through Expedia. I wanted to change one night on my reservation, but Expedia couldn't seem to make that happen. I found it impossible to get a real person at Expedia, and their stupid bot was worthless. The Hotel staff were willing to make the change, but their hands were tied since I made the reservation through Expedia (This seems to be a common theme whenever booking through Expedia)

Welcome home, more than a cliche'

Our 2nd time here. The staff make you feel like family. The property is gorgeous. Perfect location for the views and privacy from the property, but also a short walk to the beach and several fabulous restaurants. The on property restaurant is certainly helmed by the best chef (not cook) in Zihua. 5 courses of WOW.

This hotel is in one of the most beautiful settings in the world in our opinion! Drop dead beautiful view of the Zihuatanejo bay...backed with twinkling lights of the city, a painterly set of hills ...back dropped by flaming pink orange sunsets. The hotel, pool and restaurant is really high above the water...over looking large numbers of boats....exquisite and very romantic at night. Interesting minimalist room...with lovely flower welcome. The television turned out to be challenging to work for us. We also were concerned about the lack of a banister on the stairs to our room...somewhat of a safety concern, especially for older people. The restaurant serves a very interesting five course meal...beautifully presented. While the candles at night provide a romantic and rather magical setting, they do not provide enough light to show off the beautifully presented courses. The wait staff and manager were lovely...very oriented to make sure any issue or question was addressed Unfortunately, one night we both somehow ate something at dinner that did not agree with us...and paid for it during the night. That said, we plan to return because of all of the positives we experienced over several different visits.

This is an excellent small boutique hotel located on a hill overlooking La Ropa beach. Staff and amenities were excellent. Included breakfast was superb. Highly recommend.
