The room looked beautiful unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The rug in front of the jetted tub was not very secure because all the rubber backing was pretty much worn off from too many washings. Once we woke up. We noticed that the robes were both soiled. One had sexual fluids on it. I noticed my pillow had mascara stains and drool stains on it. The chair had stains on the seat and top of the chair. When I used the hand towel in the bathroom to dry my face, it smelled like mildew.
We also noticed what appeared to be packing tape on the ceiling by the drapes?
When we went down to breakfast at 6:30 there was q closed sign and there was a woman seated towards the back on the phone. She came over and apologized for not turning the sign around. She remained on the phone the entire time we ate. I went back for a 2nd cup of coffee and the carafe went empty afyer 2 pumps. She came over to take it in the back to refill it and let me know it was ready. When my husband went up to our room about 20 minutes later, she was upstairs talking to rhe housekeepers. The buffet is only open 3 hours so, I'm not sure if she really needed a break after spending 30 minutes on the phone?
We took pictures of everything and let the day manager know on checking out. She said to send her rhe pictures and she would let the General Manager know. She offered us the honeymoon suite the next time we were in town since it was our honeymoon or a refund. We were disappointed about the whole experience
