"Above average"

"Terrible parking conditions. People fell in parking lot. Everywhere else was cleaned off around streets/shops but hotel had not cleared off parking. Sidewalks were clear but at front of building it was just slush and so dangerous."

"The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Room was nice and the hot water spa was relaxing. Breakfast was very good."

"Continental breakfast was fine, just like every other part of my stay here. Nothing shocking, just the bare minimum. "

"Breakfast options were great. More tables for 4 would be nice, most were for 2 unless you move tables around. We had a suite and it was plenty big for our needs. There is a grab bar to get into the shower but one anything to hold onto once in the shower, this makes it dangerous for a disabled person. This stay we also had loud upstairs neighbors that sounded like a herd of watet buffalo above us waking us up super early. Will still stay over and over for Mayo trips!"

"There was nothing in the kitchen. Breakfast was pre packaged muffins and coffee. We stayed 3 nights. The hall carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time and wasn't vacuumed while we were there. That was gross."

"Parking was right at the room door for the first floor, which is convenient, and the agent was great. For cons, the wifi didn’t work at all, the bed and pillows were pretty hard and they weren’t very comfortable. The agent did say that the cable company was coming to check it out, so maybe that will be resolved. "

"The hotel itself had all the amenities. The room tv stand that had the microwave and fridge the doors did not close properly. It was difficult to get to the fridge as the tv stand door kept closing in on it. The closet door had stains on it as well and the light pole had not been wiped down. The staff was wonderful and parking was easy!"

"Hotel is great! Very clean, large rooms with blackout shades. We used the shuttle to Mayo Clinic and it was very easy to use. Highly recommend. "

"Kahler Grand is in a perfect location for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. We were able to walk there through subways and sky walks which was great for cold and rainy days. There's currently construction going on, so the entrance wasn't so obvious. Uber and cabs know where it is though. We did encounter some homeless people several times coming into the lobby, which was a little unsettling while waiting for our cab at 3:30am. The elevators require a room key to go above the second floor, so...
