Coming from the airport, there’s a convenient public transportation stop that leaves you about two streets away from the hotel. It’s an easy walk, though I did wander around the neighborhood a little more than necessary at first. That said, the area is incredibly quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciated after a day of traveling.
At check-in, they charged a small city tax of 2.31, and they accept both cash and card. The process was quick and straightforward. Once in the elevator, you simply follow the signs to your room. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was a bit firmer than I’m used to, but I still slept very well. Everything was spotless, which made the stay even more pleasant. I also liked that the room has its own heater, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your preference.
Right outside the property, there isn’t much going on, especially at night. During my evening walk, I noticed a few joggers along the nearby waterfront path, adding to the calm atmosphere. I recommend paying close attention to nearby public transportation stops, as it’s easy to pass them without noticing. A big plus is that public transportation runs late, even on Sundays. Overall, it’s a peaceful location near Zürich, but plan ahead since few food spots stay open late.
