Pillows in Zwolle has become my home away from home. It’s just the right size, the employees are always around if you need them. They are very attentive to your needs. The breakfast is a bit expensive for what you get, but it’s still a good breakfast especially if you like to eat a lot. Then you definitely get your money’s worth. The bed is comfortable and the place in its entirety is clean. It’s a stone throw away from the train station, which also houses a Starbucks so you could skip breakfast at hotel and go there instead for a quick and cheap bite. The whole ambiance of the hotel is nice and welcoming. The seating areas are nice.

Extremely comfortable room, very clean, the hotel staff were so polite and courteous. The breakfast was tasty and very varied and the hotel in general was spotless. The location was also perfect. We would definitely return and recommend to our friends and family. Thank you Pillows for a great stay!

Location and hotel is very good. Staff needs better training, indicated a service was included on checking in and voided it when checking out resulting in an unsuspected charge back ruining the overall stay.

Room for was large, updated, and immaculate. Room decor was minimal . I was unhappy such a large bedroom had NO MIRROR! A full length mirror would have been ideal. At the very least there should have been a face mirror provided so I wasnt forced to use the bathroom mirror. When 2 people share one room, it means the mirror in bathroom not always available and/or grooming had to occur in a smelly environment. ADD A FULL LENGTH MIRROR TO THE BEDROOM! There is plenty of space for it. Also it was a long 15 minute wait to check-in. Ironically, this was the most expensive stay during our 2-week vacation in the Netherlands yet our check experience was the worst. The female on tge check in desk was lovely - not her fault - and her assistant offered us a complimentary cocktail while we waited. This is a management problem - the check in woman had no help, and the couple before use had a complicated issue to resolve. To make matters worse, the issue was being resolved on a speakerphone at LOUD VOLUME. It was so unpleasant to hear - like a loudspeaker - and we could not enjoy our drink. We were exhausted after a full day of travel and were incredulous we had to wait so long to gain access to our room - especially since we were paying top dollar for our accommodations. Would never stay there again and will not recommend it.

This is a top notch hotel! Food and restaurant were fabulous. Staff is amazing and so helpful. Beds were perfect. Location is walking distance to the center of the city.

A Gem in Zwolle
