"We enjoyed our stay at Cabinas Jiménez. The room we booked is no longer available, so the owner kindly resettled us into a different room with the panoramic view of the Golfo Dulce that we were looking forward to. In addition to enjoying the beautiful view, we used the supplied kayaks to explore the mangroves and a deserted beach several times. "The staff and guides were awesome. Staff go out of their way to make your stay amazing. The setting is fabulous and off the beaten track from the other touristy areas in the country. The food was very good. Surrounded by wildlife."

"We had a great 5 days at Iguana Lodge. The staff and owner were very friendly and responsive. The room was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the kitchen and food aromas at times. The only downside to the property was the road leading from Puerto Jimenez to Iguana Lodge. The beachfront and pool were wonderful. Very relaxing. Food was great but more options would have been nice a well. Morning breakfasts were great. "
