"Very well located on the shores of the Nicaragua lake, the place immerses you in nature, with the incessant sound of the waves as a relaxing background. The rooms are rustic, but nice, and have all the required amenities. The bed is very comfortable, and the A/C is more than welcome. The restaurant offers a good choice of dishes, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly."

"Friendly and helpful service from the staff. For example, Laurent at reception organised a walking tour of Maderas volcano for me. The rooms on the first floor with volcano views from the veranda are great - worth paying extra for. Tasty, generous breakfast. Good location, walkable to ferry, and shops and restaurants of Moyogalpa. "

"This is a pretty expensive hotel for the location. The reception was closed and I had to call for help at the pool VHF-radio... Very few people speaks English. I stayed in a suite, which has a nice bed, almost the only good thing about the place. On day 2 afternoon I wanted to take a shower, but as on day 1 no hot water and after a few attempts no water at all, not even cold. No reception. "I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space.
