"We had a brilliant stay this weekend! The staff were fantastic, so helpful, kind and friendly. My husband needed extra covers as he feels the cold, and we were given another duvet. I'm disabled but there wasn't an accessible room free as it was the bank holiday, but staff went out of their way to find me a shower seat and provided a non slip rubber mat so I would be safe in the shower. There were clear warning signs in the bathroom, and notices that non slip mats were available and safety...

"Excellent room, spotlessly clean throughout. All the staff on reception/cafe are enthusiastic and helpful. Lovely layout on the ground floor, lots of places to chill. TV has access to a range of streaming channels. Breakfast pastries excellent "

"Basic but comfy. The cooked side of breakfast left a lot to be desired especially at the cost. Only scrambled eggs I was told?! Bacon chewy as over heated. Not a lot of choice for a full English compared to other budget hotels. Would stay again but give breakfast a miss. "

"The guys at reception gave a warm welcome and helped with the bags to our room. Room was basically fine however the kettle could have done with a better clean. Decoration of the room was a little tired, but probably fine for most guys. The full English Breakfast was very good, well cooked and quality produce. My wife is gluten free, so had no alternatives such as porridge. Made do with some bacon and egg. The evening meal was also very good, but with a busy restaurant, service was a little slow....

"First impressions on driving up were worrying, as the exterior is poor, with the front littered with cigarette butts, and no parking (a sign on the wall would be helpful as it look as though you can park there). The room though was a good size & very clean with a good shower, plenty of channels on the TV including streaming. had a good nights sleep which is the main thing though so that's okay "
