"Absolutely gorgeous ! Extremely peaceful - fabulous views and the family are so friendly and helpful . Rooms are extremely clean and well presented . It is a gem of a property and feels like it is stuck in a glamorous era of 50/60 s film stars visiting the area which is just stunning . We will be returning ! Just beautiful ! "

"Une bonne surprise pour une réservation estivale de passage, compte tenu des précédents avis, qui nous paraissent sévères. L’accueil s’est avéré très correct. Chambre immense, literie confortable en grande largeur, propreté, décoration simple avec du mobilier Ikea neuf, ascenseur, petit balcon sympa avec une vue (franchement symbolique) sur le lac d’Orta. Effectivement, il faut compter 12 minutes depuis le village d’Orta pour rejoindre l’hôtel par une route étroite et sinueuse mais pas...

"Having enjoyed a 3-night stay at the Sempione last year, we had no hesitation in booking the same hotel for a return visit to Stresa. The location is very convenient for exploring the town and for ferries to the islands or around the lake, and the staff are efficient and friendly. With its superb lake views, our balcony room was clean,comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. Breakfast was good, with excellent coffee. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"it was a pleasant surprise! a lake view penthouse with fantastic design and decorated by hand made painting. very clean and comfortable. got an good idea of Italian style. not suitable for elderly since there is no elevator."
