"What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay at Hotel Muralto and highly recommend it. The property is conveniently located near public transportation (a bus stop right out the door and train station a 5 minute walk). It's a 10 minute walk to old town Locarno, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is well maintained, the room was spotless and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
