"Less than 15 minute drive into Portree if you don’t want to stay inside town. Fantastic location for exploring all of Skye and the hosts were super friendly. The breakfast is wonderful as well."

"Lovely view, lovely room, lovely breakfast!"

"What a cozy, homey cottage! Liz has done a wonderful job of updating it without losing any of the charm of its 200 year old history. Every little detail has been thoughtfully provided, and Liz herself couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The location is wonderful too--dinner at the nearby Edinbane Lodge was outstanding and the Edinbane Pottery is well worth checking out. I highly recommend this property."

"Very quaint and cozy. Came with everything we needed. Great location. Very clean."

"Beautiful, quiet, secluded"

"From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area. The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained. Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done....

"Fantastic view out of the window. Quiet location. Cosy inside."

"The scenery and views are so beautiful "

"Super friendly host, Dale was great. Close to everything but also very quiet and peaceful. Clean room and wonderful breakfast."

"We loved our stay here! Murdo and his son Scott are amazing hosts and serve absolutely incredible food. We will stay here each time we come back - truly a special place!"
