"I really enjoyed staying at this Hostal. The staff is sooo nice and helpful. It is really close to la rambla therefore you can reach everything by foot or with the metro. It was also really plesant that i had my own shower and sink in my room :)) I also think it is amazing that you leave your room key at the reception, so you dont have to worry about loosing it. The Hostal is really a good option if you travel solo and you dont have to worry about your safety. The only thing i would say was...

"Although Hotel Fernando has tiny rooms, the hotel could not be more comfortable. Although it is on a main street, the rooms are quiet. The staff went out of their way to answer questions, and the locale is within a five minute walk of everything in the Gothic Quarter. Bisogna indossare i tappi per le orecchie e d’estate fa parecchio caldo (non c’è l’aria condizionata), ma se si ha bisogno di un alloggio economico e pulito per pochi giorni è l’ideale. I bagni in comune vengono puliti spesso ed è presente il servizio di pulizia quotidiana delle stanze. Si può accedere alla sala comune con il microonde e posti per sedersi.
