"Välkomnande. God service. Atmosfären kändes avkopplande och bidrog till en trivsamhet. För att vara UK var det ovanligt bra ordning o reda! Så som vi vill ha det i Sverige. Möttes vid incheck av en en omhändertagande kvinna, som senare visade sig vara Manager. Så jag "kom rätt" från början. All övrig personal gav mig sedan all önskvärd service! Detta hostel är för mig klanderfritt! Enda negativa för mig som Interrailare, är i så fall är att det inte är placerat nära järnvägsstationen. Det ligger...

"We went to a concert in the town hall. The hotel is just across the road so couldn't be more convenient. Breakfast was very good. There are only 6 parking spaces which are quite tight but alternatively there is a big carpark next door. We will definitely return. "

"The property was excellently situated just around the corner from the Minster. The rooms are well presented with everything you need and staff are very helpful. The pub down stairs is well stocked and a nice environment to be in. Jane was amazing and very generous on our arrival to take our bags in early so we could make the most of our time in York. "Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated."

"My second stay at the property and I would book again. Convenient flat with plenty of amenities within walking distance, includingsupermarkets, takeaways and convenience stores. Friendly owner with excellent communication and handover for property."

"I stayed at the new hostel on King Street that replaced the old building very suddenly. As a result they are still in the process of setting it up but even so it is still welcoming and pleasant. They must've worked really hard to get it ready so quickly. My room and bed were excellent and I imagine nowhere else offers such great value in a major city centre on a Friday night.
