"Great stay. Thank you to Joy for her help and making such a great overnight stay for my fiancés 30th bday. Photos did not do the property justice it was so spacious including the ground floor balcony. We will be coming back and can’t wait. The food was great and so was the breakfast & pancakes!! "Room was disappointing. Ceiling fan didnt work and it was a heatwave. Extractor in bathroom stayed on for an hour once light had been turned off. Only 1 pillow per person on the bed. Bath towels rough and many straggly ends. All surface areas were sticky, disgusting. Will never recommend this place, it was not the standard we paid for."

"We were most welcomed on our arrival, everything was explained as regards to amenities. The breakfasts certainly set you up for the day, they were well presented and freshly cooked and came to the table hot, which was bonus. For anyone going to Oxford, we would highly recommend a stay at the River Hotel and very reasonably priced. Thanks for comfortable stay."
