"The hotel is located just over the road from the main train station but doesn’t suffer from any noise or crowds. Perfectly placed to walk straight into the heart of Oxford within 10mins. The staff were very nice and polite. If you’re after a basic hotel with free WiFi, breakfast, in a good location, this is it."

"The staff was really nice the barmaid who took our order for breakfast was lovely help me with my tie before family wedding the staff was nice the room was comfortable the bed was soft as well"

"Simple but clean and in walking distance to all. Staff friendly and nice."

"The room was very clean."

"Good sized room, nice quiet area but good location to visit a few of the other nice towns and villages"

"OK hotel to stay"

"Great country space. Loved the location but would suggest trying to get there before dark to make it easier to find. Comfortable bed, quiet location, great access to walking trails and not too far into the town. Easy commute to Oxford, either park and ride or bus. Great facilities in the cottage."

"Lovely looking building, conveniently located, helpful staff, good kitchen/communal facilities, clean room, excellent wifi connection."

"Charming historic inn. Dining was excellent and pub is cozy."

"Though a little out of the centre of Oxford we enjoyed the location with easy bus transport, 2 terrific pubs and a cafe within a 5 mint walk"

"The bed was ok, it was a single, lots of storage, kettle with tea bags, tv and a safe. Bathroom light was automatic so goes off if you're in the shower, where there was no shower gel or soap. The internal stairs are fine but getting out the fire escape for out of hours access is where it's tricky. There's a balcony out there with seating. Fine for short stays and there's a bus stop outside for when it runs."

"Great location for Oxford Parkway"

"Nice Hotel and welcoming staff"

"This place was amazing. It was on the third floor and there is not an elevator, but we had no problem with it Very clean, very, very pretty, Provided tea and kettle and condiments. Really nice place. Would absolutely stay again."

"Great location "

"Clean functional, good value. Would stay again"

"I liked everything, from the delicious breakfasts, to the quaintness and lovely private patio in the back. It is right in the middle of everything going on in Stow; yet you can have a relaxed glass of wine in the back and get away from it all. And the staff are friendly and genuinely interested in you enjoying your stay!"

"The staff was especially helpful in getting us settled in quickly… the place was clean and nice. Just what we needed."

"Beautiful location, lovely rooms, food & staff. Will definitely be back 🙂"

"It was a really nice setting (it would have been great if it had been warm and sunny, sat out in the courtyard). The room we stayed in was very small, but clean and functional for a one or two night stay. We would definitely recommend it and will stay here again."
