"Unfortunately the house has seen better times, the flooring is in a bad state of of repair, sockets hanging of the walls and what looks like telephone cables loose and not connected, luckily we did not have young children with us otherwise I would have said unsafe. There was no heating or hot water in the property and whilst the host offered to get someone in on the 2nd night there was still no hot water which meant the family had to find alternatives. "The Plough Inn was a fairly basic hotel. One important point, the bed, once my head hit the pillow I was out like a light. The atmosphere in the bar was wonderful, the locals were amazingly freindly and I was drinking and talking with them all night."

"Nice guesthouse.... very convenient location.... bus to Oxford few minutes walk...or a nice walk by the thames. Comfortable bed, nice big clean bathroom but the best part was the nice and friendly hosts "
