" The property is effectively brand new so everything is in good condition. There were a couple of negative things with the building one was the flooring on the ground and first floors were basically smoothed concrete with settling cracks visible and in the restaurant the entrance to the kitchen was grubby as dirt had become ingrained into the concrete, the other negative was the heat in the communal corridors. "It was good. Check-in is a little weird. Staff was a little obnoxious, probably due to La Gaige barrier but could make it work. While most of the hostal was clean, Stairs were always dirty. Lots of Lint. And second night was a little hard to sleep on because neighbors were very noisy. Whenever they closed the door it would make a big bang and they spoke loud. Not really hotels fault but it is good to share this. Food around was great. Yeah, there are a lot of drunk guys but they are minding...

Limited personal hours at front desk. Do not show up early as no one there until 4pm to check you in. Only about a 10-12 minute walk to universal which is what makes it great"

"The hostel was comfortable overall. The bathrooms were not that clean as the other hostels I’ve been at in Japan but still bearable. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Only issue is the shoes (which you have to remove before getting in the beds section are placed within the dorm itself giving a nauseating smell for who is close to them, maybe place them outside?staff overall friendly and lounge really nice and equipped "
