"Upon arrival the hotel is nothing like how it appears in the photos, it's run down and dirty. There are used towels and laundry strewn about the hotel lobby area and stairs (no lift). The hotel staff leave for the night around 7pm and return only in the morning so there is no one to bring concerns to or go to for help. The room was filthy and stank of sewage coming up from the drain. There were bugs, old hair, stains on the rug and bedding, mildew, and the comforter even had mold growing on it....

"At the very far end of PHI PHI island. The huts are in the front of the property looked empty (that’s what we thought we booked). We were in the second floor and had an ant problem. Got bitten in bed. Shower was very strange lots of construction near but got a bit loud in the am."

"The Ivory's star is Miss Juni! The wonderful and bubbly receptionist is always lovely when she gets you, makes sure you are ok, lets you know if anything happening around the island, best places to eat, tours, ferry tickets! She is very knowledgeable. The rooms are nice and clean and the housekeeping ladies are friendly. The hotel is very central to Phi Phi, with easy walking around the streets to delicious Street food, shopping etc. and a delicious doughnut stand right across from the hotel....

"The hotel looks amazing, great view and the staff was very welcoming and they helped us to take the luggage to the room. The only thing that we didn’t like was that they haven’t clean the room daily, so we had to use the some towel every day and the fridge was a bit dirty. And it was only one plug in the room to use it to charge the phone. Overall was a nice experience we will definitely come back again . Its worthy money ! "

"This property gives you the bare necessities, and not much more. The view is excellent, and you have to climb a lot of stairs if you’re staying in the higher up cottages. We really didn’t need much more for our stay in phi phi, and found it affordable when comparable to other accommodations. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle that you don’t hear much at night, but bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise. "We had a fantastic stay, the location is great and one the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. It was really quiet due to the low season so the atmosphere around the restaurant was a bit slow. The rooms are fairly basic but the price reflects this. "
