" This was not at all what I expected. We got there and we couldn't check in but there was a bell there to ring that neither me or my daughter saw, a sign might be helpful. Sat in the car until one of the employees saw us. This place reminds me of a old time run down lake house. This would be a nice resort if fixed up, but I'm afraid its glory days are over. "The person checking us in was wonderful and helpful. The hotel on the other hand is due for some renovation. The room was beat up and the toilet had a ring in it like it hadn’t been used in quite some time. It was very cold in the room we turned up the heat and couldn’t tell if it was doing anything. Went to the front desk was informed there were space heaters that needed to be turned on. She also attempted to clean the toilet but it needed more attention than she could give. Don’t believe the website I believe it’s from the previous owners the bar is closed on the property. All in all it was okay but a far cry from years gone by. "
