"The motel was fine except for very spotty Wi-fi. Were it not for that I would have rated the place 5 stars. There should be a dedicated non-smoking wing of the motel. I did not notice one, though our room had no smell nor evidence of tobacco."

"I stayed with my husband and toddler for five days. They gave us a free room upgrade at check-in. We picked this hotel for the location since it was convenient for highway access. We're originally from the area so we knew what we were looking for. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a nice view of the lake. They provide a good breakfast with decent eggs and tasty pancakes. There's plenty of free parking. If I was a tourist, I probably wouldn't want to stay here since I wouldn't say it's exactly modern or has an overall good vibe. It's slightly depressing and it might be a combo of the dated decor and building and also the sad looking clientele. That said, the employees are nice and helpful and the rooms are clean so if you're strapped for cash and just need a bed to sleep in it's fine. But it's not one of those places you go to for the ambiance."
