"Had a great visit. Everyone is particularly helpful. Met with Mr. Arnott and he was very accommodating and friendly. The staff are really good if you need any extra soap or supplies. It used to be a hostel but has now turned into a hotel and it’s very amenable to all of the local events and facilities."

"最初、Kioskとはなにかわからなかったが、行けば分かるように掲示板があった。また、google mapでみたとき、駐車場がどこかわからなかったが、問題なく駐車スペースがあった。バストイレは共通だが、タオルの入れ替えは2日に一回くらいだった。冷蔵庫に物を保管するときは、近場のスーパーで得た紙袋に部屋番号を書いていれておいた。特にイタズラされることはなかった。玄関の鍵を開け閉めするのにコツがあり、鍵を深く入れてから、抜けないようにすこし鍵を引いたところでしか回らないものだった。また、靴を脱ぐスタイルの宿だった。しかし、kilaueaからかなり近く、利便性はよかった。古いので温水が出るのに時間がかかった。費用は抑えられた。また火山の活動と休みがあえば、泊まりたいと思う。"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. There is also an additional bathroom outside that I didn’t read about or see until my last night. The outdoor hot tub and shower were all placed uniquely in the back of the property amongst nature. "Chris was my host and he has a nice comfortable place. It was like hanging out with a friend. Everything was clean and the house rules were explained and easily understood. Very economical."

"Our stay at the Fern Studio was excellent. The hosts, Elaine and Carter, were so incredibly kind and very communicative. Providing instructions early prior to our arrival and gave us lots of tips while we were there. Especially for the National Park next door."

"Every quite & nice hotel that I believe is located at the highest point in Hilo. Had great scenery from the front porch along with a nice small botanical garden to sit & relax at."

"The location, the ambiance and peacefulness exceeded my expectations a hundred fold! But what truly made the stay so fantastic was how my wife and I were treated like ohana!
