"Hotel is in dire need of renovation. Dirty, smelly, yellowish and smelly towels. Bed linens are yellowish. Wall paints are peeling and yellowish, window frame has problem closing the pane. Toilet is disgustingly dirty. Slow service. I do not know what happened to this hotel. It was the best accommodation in Bromo 30 years ago. "

"I came to Probolingo for one night just passing through. Hotel Tampiarto was very near and easy to find. Checking in we where asked to pay an extra fee which was double the amount of the price said on the web page. Once in the room we found that we got so much more than we paid for. "The place is a little rundown. Constructions around the house were so noisy. Bathroom looks dirty or old. Many small broken things that owner can easily fix to make the place more welcoming were not done. We were very close to abandoning the place and take the loss but there were no available options at the time. This is basically your last resort. "

"We were checked in right away. The room had a bed, two blankets and a bathroom without a sink. The water was cold. We asked for another blanket because it was so cold and staff wouldn’t provide even though there was no one else in the other rooms. Close to the Bromo entrance gate. I would only stay here for one night."

"Just like the google comments, the hotel only give very old and untidy room to the customer who book through internet. Those room are located at the back of the corridor. They won’t give the newer rooms to us. The room is very old and very dirty. The first room I got had many ants, mosquitos and many many many flies in the bathroom. Furnitures are old and broken. Bed sheet and towel are in grey color. The staff is not helpful at all and not polite. I would rather stay at homestay in Probolinngo rather than this “HOTEL”!"
