"Cedrela is nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica. It was easy to navigate there. The accommodations are clean, but the standout of Cedrela is the restaurant, Al Mercat. "We felt like we were alone in the jungle, full kitchen very nice bathroom separated from the bedroom. The bedroom does not have glass windows one night was a little bit warm, so please take that into consideration but overall we loved the concept. Keep in mind there's also a huge construction boom in Costa Rica so there is some street noise, can't see it, but sometimes you can hear it"

"It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. "

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!"

"The proprietor, Fateh, was kind, attentive and helpful. Our room was beautiful as were the surroundings. Fateh took care of arranging our tours and saw that we had breakfast every morning before heading out. We took advantage of a wonderful meal in the Villas restaurant, walked the grounds to see the waterfall, and took a yoga class from Fateh herself. The experience provided at Waterfall Villas was relaxing, nurturing and enjoyable. We loved it there!"

"Was a bit hard to fine..better signage would be beneficial. Closest hotel to Cero Chirripo. Host was WONDERFUL..great communication. Accommodations are basic but the cabins have refrig/microwave. CLEAN and comfortable. "
