"First the positives, the cabin was exactly as the online website stated it would be. It was clean, quaint, cozy, all the amenities were there with snacks, firewood, utensils, and the bed was comfortable. The night we stayed it was almost a full moon and the stars were out, it was beautiful almost like a picture. The reason why we didn’t rate it as a 5 star was that the shower leaked. We noticed when we came in that the wood in the bathroom was stained looking like it had been wet. We figured that someone didn’t close the shower door and water was a problem at some point. My husband took a shower and stated that the towel that was on the ground as a mat for the shower was soaking wet. I figured he didn’t shut the shower door all they way so when I took one I made sure it was shut tight but the exact thing happened but because the floor was already so wet the other towel I laid down was soaking too. It was to the point that a huge puddle was in the middle of the bathroom. So from that point on we had to wear our shoes if we wanted to use the bathroom. If we were to stay another night I would have asked for a different cabin due to the shower leaking. We wondered how long that it had been going on for the wood to have that big of a wet stain on it for me to notice it. We also wondered what the wood looked like under the rug in the bathroom. "

"The hotel needs many repairs. The carpet on the stairs is ripped in several places. The floors were dirty. There was a hole in the wall of our room. And other signs of neglect. On the positive, the room smelled clean and the receptionists were very nice and helpful. "
